Scope & Responsibilities:

Tax Reporting and Compliance

• Conduct tax computation procedures by receiving, reviewing, and processing transaction-level documents to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documents to facilitate tax operations, administration, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for BIR audit, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities for the processing of regulatory tax permits and licenses.
• Draft tax correspondence addressing compliance matters and submit them as required.
• Manage the submission and monitoring of tax disputes, working to minimize tax assessments through effective resolution strategies.


Business Support and Collaboration on Tax Matters

• Address simple queries and requests related to taxation from internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide functional expertise and direct support on taxation matters to various departments including accounting, risk management, and special projects planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on tax strategies and compliance requirements.



Continuous Process Improvement

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax-related processes within the accounting group.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in tax reporting and compliance.
• Implement control changes as necessary to improve overall performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Must hold a CPA license or certification.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting and tax-related activities.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Newly licensed CPAs are welcome.
• Preference is given to candidates with local Philippine tax experience.
• Familiarity in reviewing, processing, and preparing transaction-level documents related to taxation.
• Familiarity in tax reporting and compliance procedures.
• Familiarity of regulatory tax permits and licenses processing.
• Strong communication skills for handling queries and requests from internal and external customers.
